Winter Garden

After the holidays, it can sometimes seem dismal, especially when you’re living in a cold weather climate in the winter. The Mister and I cleared out the Christmas a tree a few weeks ago. Of the remaining holiday decor, I still have a good number of poinsettias so there’s a bit of color inside. I’ve switched over to hyacinths and lilies as fresh cut flowers to make it feel like spring, even though I know we’ve got a loooonnnng way to go. We haven’t gotten our first snow yet!

So it makes me so happy when I take a walk in the neighborhood and I see the winter camellias and the ornamental purple cabbage.

How many more days until spring?
