All the Books
I recently talked about my reading list for the past few months. After many years of living in the District, I took the plunge & got a library card! I know – why did I wait so long? I’m a P.G. Gal & that means I carry a library card from my home county in MD, which I frequented quite regularly. So now I have options and all the books 🙂
I had a breakfast meeting this morning that took me to the West End so afterwards I walked over to the new library and got myself a library card. I even checked out a book! The West End Library Branch re-opened on December 9th with a ribbon cutting with DC Mayor Muriel Bowser as well as other dignitaries. The space is gigantic and filled with amazing light!
Adjacent to the library is Bluestone Lane, a café that boasts 2,200 square feet! I didn’t get a chance to stop by because I had to head to my next meeting. I’ll get over there again soon enough.
