A momentous night

Last night was AHHHH-MAY-ZING! The APAICS team and I had the honor of hosting the ceremonial swearing in of the members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus of the 116th Congress at the Capitol Visitor Center. With 20 Asian American Pacific Islander members of Congress, this is a record number! There is much to celebrate with more work for the future. Thank you to the APAICS team, CAPAC staff, MSNBC News Anchor Richard Lui for being the Master of Ceremony, U.S. Circuit Judge Sri Srinivasan for administering the oath of office & all of the event partners in making such a momentous occasion a festive one. A big shout out to the community partners and allies who came to support the CAPAC members. THANK YOU!
