The Non-Green Thumb

Did you know that I’ve killed a cactus? I have the worst luck with plants, basically I possess a non-green thumb. People have given me different kinds of plants as thank you gifts and I silently groan as I take bets with myself to see how long the plant can survive under my care. Eventually the Mister feels sorry for my dying plants and tries to salvage them.

I’m ok with cut flowers and the funny thing is that I grew up with a lot of house plants so it’s not as if I didn’t water them and care for them as a young person. I must have lost my mojo somewhere along the way.

To give my home the semblance of plant life, I decided to take action by purchasing faux succulents. Does this make me totally lame?!?
