Friday Favorite: Grace Chon

There is no question that I adore pups of all kinds. The Mister was an adoption counselor at the Washington Animal Rescue League (now Humane Rescue Alliance) when we adopted Aurnia over 5 years ago. So when you add social media to the equation, I was bound to meet Grace Chon, an artist and author who specializes in pet photography. A friend of mine, Mariel introduced me to Grace’s Instagram feed when Mariel’s sister hired Grace to photograph the family pup, Chachi. Of course, I was enthralled with all the photographs of the pups, but can we talk about the side by side photographs of Grace’s son, Jasper and Zoey?! SO STINKING CUTE!!

Grace is so extremely talented and I had the good fortune to meet her when I had a work trip in Los Angeles over the summer of 2017. Whenever I need a pick me up, I scroll through her feed and instantly smile. Also, she’s got a book called Waggish where Chachi is featured! Support a woman of color artist and bring a smile to others. #notanad #Ijustlikeherandherwork
