A very special anniversary!

About a year ago (give or take a few days), I was on a trip to Costa Rica and my dear friend, JHu asked me what I wanted to do to celebrate my Birthday that ends in a Zero.  I decided that I wanted to go to Rome (which I did on my actual birthday and my posts from that trip are here, here, here, here and here) as well as take a girls trip to Barcelona.

I returned from my Barcelona trip on Memorial Day and I am so blessed to have wonderful girlfriends who are willing to make the trek from Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as DC to help me celebrate. In the next few days, I’ll be sharing my musings of that fantastic voyage, as well as recommendations from the locals (I have 2 friends who live there!) and from other friends who recently traveled there on holiday too.

To honor that anniversary conversation, I’m re-posting the How You Go From Paradise to a Broken Leg w a Nail & 2 Screws because that trip was quite an adventure and 2 of the girls from that trip were with me for the Barcelona trip!

No matter what birthday you’re celebrating, I hope that life has given you friends that you can count on through thick and thin. Life has blessed me with such a group.
