Another Great Restaurant in My ‘Hood

My definition of in My ‘Hood covers a pretty good circumference. I live on the Senate side of Capitol Hill so H St. NE is at my fingertips while the House side is a short walk away. Since I’m 2 blocks from Union Station, Chinatown is a hop, skip and metro ride so I think of that as less of My ‘Hood and more of the border, altho I include Fiola as part of My ‘Hood. What can I say? It’s all arbitrary!

Hank’s Oyster Bar, an always popular destination near Dupont Circle opened an outpost in My ‘Hood (House side). Since it’s August, the likelihood of getting a table in any restaurant increases with most folks on vacation. Since Hank’s is such an established brand, it wasn’t a surprise that there was a small wait when I decided to do a walk-in during the work week.
