Peachy Keen Brownie Baking
Looking at my calendar, I realized that I would be super busy with work events so I decided to get a head start on cooking/baking so that I would have sustenance during the week. Since I got a few requests for the items I baked, I’m sharing those recipes!
With summer in full swing, peaches and nectarines are in abundance, especially the white varieties. I especially enjoy those and tend to eat them everyday as a snack or as part of my breakfast. The last time I baked, I used apples for a tarte tatin for 4th of July (if you want the recipe, you can go back to the article). Since I was headed to my weekly family dinner, I decided that I would bake a peach cobbler. It took really no time and the oven did all the work for me!

I was feeling very ambitious because I just finished making 4 entree type dishes and checking the clock, I had 1 1/2 hours before I was heading out the door for my aunt’s house. Why not throw in some brownies? I’m not above making brownies out of a box but after using this recipe, I don’t think I’ll be buying brownie mix anymore because it was so EASY! I have Nigella Lawson to thank for this magnificent baked goodness.
